Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting our shop. I'm the artist behind each piece.
Las Caritas, meaning "The Little Faces" was started in 2021 in the Bronx, New York, after many conversations with my mother, Rebecca, and my sister, Cristina. We were looking for a way to capture the pride of our Puerto Rican culture and those of our melting pot community in an art form. Something that would represent everyone's originality, culture, beauty, religion, color, and that's how Las Caritas Pins was born.
I bond with every piece I paint. Their personalities grow with every stroke of the brush. I love what I do, and I hope you can see that in your piece.
It's a fun way to celebrate your friends and family members with a keepsake that will last them longer than an arrangement of flowers. You may see a Caritas that looks like someone you know, or you just may find your mini you!

Each wooden pin is meticulously hand painted then resined for durability and will vary in color and texture making each one unique.
Depending on the Caritas you choose, sizes will vary as well. You will find the actual size on the product page.
There are several Caritas that have a different backing other than a pin, and that would be mentioned in the product page.
Please allow for a 2 week turn around time if the item is out of stock. I need a little time to paint your piece.
